Our injection-molded and thermo-formed plastic numbers and letters are molded from Cellulose Acetate Butyrate. CAB is a highly impact-resistant plastic used for thermoforming a variety of manufactured products. CAB is made from cotton and wood fibers. This product is manufactured from a renewable resource and is recyclable.
This plastic combines long-term weather resistance with clear, solid colors. Because of the material's durability numbers and letters are guaranteed,
as defined in our warranty section, for life as long as they remain installed on their original location. This warranty applies to durability only.
Any outdoor product will accumulate dust and pollutants. These numbers and letters should be periodically cleaned with a good dish soap and water.

Injection-Molding creates numbers and letters by forcing heated liquid CAB into a closed steel mold. These molds are machined to create objects that, when installed, appear similar in shape to our cast metals. These injection-molded pieces have the same guarantee as our other products. Injection-molded pieces are produced in either solid white or solid black. For injection-molded colors, we paint standard colors (at left) on the white CAB. Thermo-forming creates by vacuum-drawing heated sheet plastic over metal molds. The resultant pieces have nicely radiused turns as indicated in the above profiles. Note: The radius of the turns is the same size for all sizes of numbers and letters; hence, on a 4" piece the radius will occupy much more of the face than on the face of an 18" piece. Consequently in the appearance of flat or beveled pieces, an 18" piece will appear to have sharper radiused turns, even though the radius is the same on both sizes. Example: The Architectural A to the left is a photograph of a 6" piece. These formed numbers or letters have a lifetime guarantee as defined in our warranty section.
