Our kit order is designed so that you
can make a good decision about size and configuration of the products
you wish to purchase. Ordering the wrong size is the most frequent
mistake made by our customers. Our kit ordering system is designed to
avoid these costly "size" mistakes and to help you with easy
installation.
To make sure that you are ordering the correct size for
the location where you want to install your address set, we will, within
a day after your order (and before we commence production) deliver to
you a proof, consisting of a digital, full-scaled, dimensioned drawing
showing the letters and/or numbers that you ordered and the layout of
these items with our professional kerning.
When your order ships we will include pursuant to
such proof , a paper mounting template with your number/letter
outlines positioned on it. The outlines each contain the precise
location for the mounting studs that will attach to the rear of each
number or letter.
Your order will include aluminum mounting studs that
are threaded so that the studs will screw into receptacles on the
reverse side of each number or letter.
We include a quantity of silicone glue to affix the
mounting studs to the installation location.
Finally, we include a step-by-step
installation guide.
2. Suggested Stud
Mounting Procedure For Metal or Plastic
For most applications involving small to
medium-sized pieces (2" to 15"), our products may be installed with a
few common tools and supplies: (a) masking tape, (b) a hand drill (roto-hammer
for masonry surfaces), and (c) a level. Sizes larger than 16" may
require additional support from the back side of the piece. Following is
the suggested procedure for small to medium-sized pieces:
Start your installation by taping the paper template where you wish
to place the numbers or
letters. We recommend that you use a level to insure true
horizontal/vertical positioning.

number template.
Once
the template is securely taped, the installer will drill holes into
the installation surface using the precise location of the mounting
studs as indicated on the template.
After
the holes are drilled, fill each hole with silicone glue. By hand
screw the studs into the holes on the back of the number or letter,
coat each stud with silicone glue, and press studs into the
glue-filled holes.
The installer, using masking tape, will secure the numbers or
letters to the wall surface until the silicon glue hardens.
After the glue has set, remove
the masking tape and VOILA! you have the industry's finest address
identification installed on your premises. Click photo for view of an excellent completed installation

3. Plastic Hardware &
Suggested Pad Installation Procedure
1. PADS ONLY HARDWARE
Mounting pads are affixed to the inside rear of the
letter. The pads are covered with silicone adhesive and pressed against a
clean mounting surface. The letter is held in place with masking tape for at
least 12 hours
.
This mounting hardware is
best for indoor locations. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HARDWARE FOR EXTERIOR
LOCATIONS.
2. STUDS
ONLY HARDWARE
Aluminum studs thread into a receptacle on the inside
rear of your number or letter. You install as per the diagram below.
These numbers or letters may be raised off the wall by using spacers.
We supply such at no extra cost. Specify your desire for spacers in the
appropriate section of the order form. The letter is held in place with
masking tape for at least 12 hours.
This hardware is great for exterior locations where
your pieces are flat against the wall. Also best for small sizes (5" or
less).
3. STUDS & PADS ALL
HARDWARE
The pads with studs are affixed to all locations inside rear
of a letter. The studs are installed per the suggested stud mounting
procedure
above. The pads are covered with silicone adhesive and pressed against a
clean mounting surface. The letter is held in place with masking tape for at
least 12 hours. NOTE:
This hardware is only available for numbers or letters 6" or greater in
height. This hardware is good for exterior locations when your pieces are to
stand off the wall.
4. STUD-PAD COMBINATION
HARDWARE
The pads with studs are affixed to the upper inside rear of a
letter. The lower part of the inside rear of the letter has
affixed a pad only. The installer will drill a 1/4" hole for
the studs. The studs are installed per the
above diagram. The pads are covered with silicone adhesive and
pressed against a clean mounting surface. The letter is held in place with
masking tape for at least 12 hours.NOTE:
