Cast Aluminum & Bronze Specifications For House Numbers
Production Description: Cast Aluminum or Bronze is produced by pouring molten (hot, liquified) aluminum or bronze into molds in the shape of numbers or letters. After cooling, these pieces are then finished in the styles below:
Aluminum a. Natural Satin: Natural Satin aluminum address numbers & letters provide a glossy, natural aluminum appearance with stroke-sanded faces. The returns (sides) of the numbers and letters are finished with a bead-blasting
technique. Finally, the numbers and letters are protected with a glossy, 2-part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat. Click on an

Aluminum b. Painted:
Paint-enameled aluminum house numbers and letters are available in
numerous colors. Our paint is similar in composition
and application to the enamels used for painting automobiles.

Aluminum c. Clear Anodic or
Powder-Coat: Clear-anodized or powder-coated aluminum
house numbers & letters provide two different matte finishes. This
matte clear-anodized finish provides a raw, brushed-aluminum appearance.
The powder-coated finish named "nouveau patina" has a unique,
uniform, bronze-patina tone. This matte finish is not clear-coated.
Clear anodized and powder-coated aluminum pieces have sanded returns.
These finishes are grouped together because they are in the same price
category.

Aluminum d. Tint Anodic: Tint-anodized aluminum house numbers & letters provide a selection of satin tones for the demanding home-owner or designer. Included in these variations are: 1. Satin Gold with sanded returns; 2. Satin Medium Bronze
with bead-blasted returns; 3. Satin Dark Bronze with bead-blasted returns; and 4. Satin Black with bead-blasted returns. Satin anodized items have a matte finish with no clear coating.

Bronze a. Natural Satin: Natural Satin Bronze provides a basic bronze house number or letter with a stroke-sanded face and bead-blasted returns. Natural Satin Bronze is coated with a glossy, 2-part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat. The bronze is a lead and mercury free alloy NAVY G 88-8-0-4.

Bronze b. Oxidized: Oxidized Bronze house numbers and letters provide a medium or dark bronze finish. These oxidized address numbers and letters are finished by stroke sanding. The returns are bead-blasted. As a final step the
numbers and letters are coated with a 2-part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat. This clear coast produces a reflective finish.

Bronze c. Patina or Polished: Patina or Polished Bronze house numbers and letters provide the most luxurious finishes. These finishes, grouped in the same price category, require much labor to produce. Polished Bronze address numbers are finished by hand polishing and then coated with a 2-part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat. Patina Bronze 3 different shades) is force-aged by chemicals and heat. As in nature, this finish may vary from piece to piece; and hence, each piece is has a unique appearance. Note: the Patina finish is not available for the Architectural or Roman Round font sets.
