Cut Tint-Anodized Aluminum
Brushed or Polished Finish for Tint Anodic House Numbers & Letters
Color-anodized aluminum numbers & letters are water-jet cut from flat sheets of aluminum alloy 6061 in the various thicknesses mentioned in the table above. The faces of these pieces are either brushed or polished. Their returns are bead blasted. They are then color-anodized in either of 4 hues: 1. Gold; 2. Medium Bronze; 3. Dark Bronzes; or 4. Black.
Brushed anodized items have a matte finish with no clear coating. The polished color-anodized pieces have a smooth (not reflective) appearance.
To anodize, the pieces are submerged in an anodizing solution and charged with an electric current. The result is surfaces that are completely hardened by the anodizing process.
NOTE: Our polished finish is only available for numbers or letters 2" high or greater.
