Polished & Natural Satin Brass finishes provide house numbers & letters with a shiny gold-yellow tones of brass. Both finishes are clear-coated with a glossy 2-part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat. Our "brass" alloy is, depending on availability, either C46400 Naval Brass (60% copper, 39.25% zinc and .75% tin) or a Muntz alloy C280 (60% copper & 40% zinc). Neither alloy contains lead. Polished Brass requires (for polishing) that the piece have either welded or traditional studs. Our polished pieces in 1/8" stock are priced with welded studs. NOTE: Our polished finish is only available for numbers or letters 2" high or greater.

Warranty Exception: The acrylic coating will deteriorate in salt water environments. Consequently, the brass will tarnish. We cannot extend our usual warranty for salt-water environments.
